The latest happenings in WASZP world…
Its been a very busy 6 months at WASZP HQ - here is the latest...
The first production WASZP’s left the factory at the end of June and over 110 boats have shipped through the start of September.
Boats have gone to 16 countries so far.
We’ve had some nice feedback and plenty of first timers are up and foiling.
Here is a taste:
"I want to let you know how much I am loving this thing.
I had never been on foils before (a Laser sailor before this), and I got foiling on my first time out.
By the second time I was getting up regularly, at least in a straight line. It's wonderful, like nothing I've ever felt before. Still a lot of swimming, but I knew it would be a challenge and I'm enjoying it.
Also, for the boat to be this well sorted right out of the gate is really impressive, you've lived up to your stellar reputation from the Moth. Thank you for making this, it's the most fun I've ever had on a boat."

Yachts & Yachting in the UK have just published a review of the WASZP:
Due to a strong build program and some deferments from customers waiting for the next Northern Hemisphere season, you can order a WASZP production slot now
Typical time from deposit to release for shipping is now about 3 weeks.
From there international air shipping takes another 8-10 working days.

More demo boats are coming to Australia, New Zealand, the USA and the Netherlands soon.
WASZP Rules
The draft WASZP class rules have been published for comment.
The overriding goal is to deliver a strict one-design foiling class where the true test when raced is between crews and not boats and equipment. The fundamental objective of the class rules is to ensure that this concept is maintained.
Have a look and post your feedback for the WASZP class rules here
Local Support
Soon we will be announcing a local support network that will progressively roll out around the world.
These ‘Ambassadors’ will be able get you a test sail on a WASZP, assist with ordering and shipping and provide advice on set-up and tuning.
