WASZP MODES

STORAGE MODE

In storage mode the wings are folded vertically upwards.
This reduces the hull width to just over 1.4 m including the trolley.

The sail, mast and boom can all fit neatly inside the slot between the wings for storage.

Further gains can be made if the boats are parked top to tail.

LEARN MODE

In Learn mode the wings are locked down to a horizontal position.
This provides the most stable platform for learning to foil as the wing buoyancy is lowest to the water.

It also reduces the need for active balancing to keep the boat upright.

Movement around the boat is also easier on the flat surface.

Learn mode allows the sailor to concentrate on learning the balance and trim positions to initiate and sustain foiling.

RACE MODE

Once confident and consistently enjoying the rush of flying, moving to race mode lifts the wings to a 17-degree angle, allowing more advanced foiling techniques such as windward heel.

As the wings are further from the water this induces extra drive from the horizontal foils and increased righting leverage. This increases speed and height upwind significantly.

Indicative Shipping Process and Time Frame

Once boat is complete, packed and checked:

So ~ 6-12 working days all up to receive at the destination all going well.

Shipping/Freight

The shipping charge includes transport from the factory, Chinese export customs charges, documentation fees and airfreight with transit insurance to the nearest major international airport that handle regular airfreight packages 3.5 metres long and of 1 cubic metre (size of WASZP shipping crate)

Customs Clearance, Local Taxes, Import Fees & Duties

Shipping does not include local taxes, customs clearance charges, import fees & duties which vary from country to country. These are calculated by local authorities and collected from you by them
In most countries you can expect to pay approximately USD $400 - $500 for customs clearance plus any local taxes, import duties and VAT/GST charges (if any) that are applicable in your jurisdiction
In Australia and the USA we provide customs clearance, import fees, duties and complimentary local delivery for a fixed fee

Insurance

Transit Insurance is included with your shipping cost. This cover is inclusive of transport from the factory until it leaves our freight forwarders control
The terms of the transit insurance means that the moment you, your customs agent or your local transport company takes possession the insurance provided by our freight forwarder lapses
We strongly recommend that you arrange appropriate levels of insurance for your WASZP effective from when it leaves our forwarders control
